Fidal Avocats’ Paris office is pleased to announce the arrival of Núria Bové Espinalt and Catherine Hilgers, accompanied by their teams.

Recognized expertise dedicated to businesses

Núria Bové Espinalt, admitted to both the Paris and Barcelona Bars, brings over 30 years of experience in commercial, judicial, and arbitration litigation and advisory matters. She led teams at top-tier law firms such as Gide Loyrette Nouel and Cuatrecasas, where she founded the Paris office, before joining DS Avocats to head up the Iberian Desk and LATAM activities.

Her expertise covers corporate law (recognized as a Best Lawyer in France in the field), commercial contracts, distribution, and corporate finance transactions. Also recognized for her expertise in arbitration, mediation and judicial litigation (a Best Lawyer in France), she is regularly appointed as an arbitrator by the ICC in Paris.
A law graduate from the University of Barcelona, Núria Bové Espinalt also holds a Master's degree in International Trade Law (Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne) and has completed a leadership program at IESE Business School. She is fluent in French, English, Spanish, and Catalan.

Committed to promoting Franco-Spanish relations, she is vice-president of DIALOGO France, a board member of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Paris, and an active member of the international commissions of the Paris Bar Association.

Catherine Hilgers, a tax lawyer with 30 years of experience, assists international groups on their international tax, transfer pricing and asset reorganization issues, as well as on tax audits and controversies.
Her career is distinguished by a threefold background: tax administration (DGFIP), corporate in-house (Tax Director of the Altrad Group), and law firms (EY, Fidal, DS Avocats).

Catherine Hilgers has led teams and centers of excellence in international taxation, tax audits, and tax controversies.
A graduate of Sciences Po Paris and ENI (Ecole Nationale des Impôts), Catherine Hilgers holds a CRFPA with honors in tax and customs law. She is fluent in English, Spanish, and Danish, and has a strong international background.

Named a 2025 Best Lawyer in Tax Law, she has also been a Foreign Trade Advisor since 2011 and chaired the Languedoc-Roussillon committee in 2016.
