Fidal Avocats strengthens its expertise in private client taxation with the arrival of Pierre-Axel Freour

Fidal’s Paris office is pleased to announce the arrival of Pierre-Axel Freour, a member of the Paris Bar, in the Private Client Taxation team led by Valérie Harnois Mussard.

Recognized expertise in private client taxation

A lawyer since 2013, Pierre-Axel Freour has extensive experience in wealth taxation, international taxation, and tax litigation. He advises French and international clients on high-stake matters, particularly in the areas of tax and estate planning, business structuring and succession (Dutreil Pact), as well as the restructuring and organization of private and professional assets.

His expertise also includes assistance with tax audits and litigation, tax compliance procedures with the tax authorities, structuring executive and managerial compensation, and advising on international mobility situations (relocations, expatriate tax regimes, and investments in France by non-residents).

Before joining Fidal, Pierre-Axel Freour was a managing partner at Freour Avocats, a niche firm specialized in private client taxation. Prior to that, he practiced for over five years at CMS Francis Lefebvre Avocats in the international private client tax department, having previously gained recognized experience at Andersen Tax & Legal and Stehlin & Associés.

A graduate of Paris II Panthéon-Assas University (Professional Master 2 in Tax Law), Pierre-Axel Freour also holds a specialized Master’s degree in International Law and Management from ESCP Europe, completed in partnership with City Law School of London. He obtained his CAPA at the Paris Bar Training School.
