Simon has a Diploma of General Business Law (DJCE) with a specialization in Tax Law and a LLM in American law. He is a member of the Angers and Washington DC Bars.

He joined Fidal's Angers office in 2012, after several years spent in various Parisian firms specialized in transactions and restructuring.

As a partner, he supervises the tax team of the Angers office and handles the tax management of SMEs, French groups and French subsidiaries of foreign groups. He has developed a generalist tax culture allowing a global approach and intervenes as well in corporate tax, VAT, local taxes or patrimonial taxation.
Simon regularly advises on corporate sales, acquisitions and transfers and covers all the tax aspects of these transactions, both professional (management of tax consolidation, calculation of financial charges, restructuring operations, etc.) and personal (impact on the personal tax on real estate, Dutreil pact, management package and remuneration policy for executives and managers, etc.).

In addition to his general tax law activity, Simon is responsible for the national tax IT team within the firm's technical department. He has developed an expertise in the development and use of tools for conducting computerized tax audits (analysis of Files of accounting entries and company management data): the computerization of tax audit procedures makes it possible to detect issues and opportunities that cannot be detected using traditional analyses, while carrying out more in-depth work in a shorter timeframe.
It also assists companies in all matters related to computerized accounting (i.e. tax dematerialization, archiving, computerized accounting checks, filing accounting entries, formalizing reliable audit trail documentation, tax issues related to information system configuration, etc.).
