Boris Ruy toak the oath in 2007. He joined Fidal in June 2009 as an associate. He was appointed a partner in 2016.
He graduated from the IEP of Paris ("Sciences-Po") and the law faculty of the Lyon III University.
He serves French as foreign clients on competition and distribution issues, including the implementation of compliance programmes.
His main fields of activity are health industry, agro-food industry, tyre industry, insurance and retail.
He provides assistance to several groups involved in concentration procedures before the French Competition Authority (sectors concerned : video games, built-in kitchens, bio-food, heating and sanitary products).
He is usually in charge of civil, penal or arbitration litigations on competition (e.g. cartels), distribution or franchising matters.
He is instructor of competition litigations within the "Economic private law" Master at the University of Montpellier.
