Hatim Boukhris Joins the CGEM Board for the 2026–2029 Term
A key figure in the development of Fidal Africa, Hatim Boukhris joins the CGEM’s Board of Directors
Fidal congratulates Hatim Boukhris, a partner at its Casablanca office, on his appointment to the Board of Directors of the General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises (CGEM) for the 2026–2029 term. In addition, he has been appointed Chair of the Confederation’s Legislative Reform and Legal Monitoring Committee.
This appointment comes as the CGEM’s new leadership, under the presidency of Mehdi Tazi, takes office. At its first meeting on 22 June 2026, the Board of Directors for this term established the Confederation’s standing committees and appointed their chairs. In this context, Hatim Boukhris was chosen to chair the Legislative Reform and Legal Monitoring Committee, one of the key bodies responsible for supporting the CGEM’s deliberations and proposals on changes to the regulatory framework applicable to businesses.
A lawyer recognized for his expertise in business law and his commitment to Moroccan and international economic stakeholders, Hatim Boukhris has for many years contributed to the development of a legal environment conducive to investment, competitiveness, and business growth.
His appointment to the governing body of the Kingdom’s leading employers’ organization is a recognition of his professional career, his involvement in Morocco’s major economic challenges, and his ability to represent the business community on issues of reform and legal certainty.
